    • customer states that she can smell burning rubber through the cabin. during inspection noticed that the valve cover gasket is leaking oil. recommend to replace the whole valve cover assembly due to a common failure for the PCV that is incorporated to the valve cover assembly. removed and replaced valve cover assembly along with all the associated seals and gaskets. removed spark plug on cylinder #1 and noticed that it is worn to the minimum. removed and replaced spark plugs. washed engine bay.
    • during inspection noticed that the clock time was getting reset by itself. performed a battery load test and the result was marginal. Removed, replaced and register the battery.

    • CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE BATTERY WENT DEAD AFTER THE CAR SAT OVERNIGHT. DIAGNOSED AND FOUND THAT THE SIREN FOR THE ALARM BATTERY WENT OUT NOT LETTING THE CAR TO GO TO SLEEP MODE. REMOVED, REPLACED & CODE SIREN. CLEARED FAULT CODES.
    • CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE HE HAS A HARD TIME TRYING TO GET THE TRUNK CLOSE. DIAGNOSE AND FOUND A FAULTY TRUNK LATCH ASSEMBLY. REMOVED AND REPLACED.
    • PERFORMED A LOAD TEST ON THE BATTERY. TEST RESULT WAS MARGINAL & CUSTOMER HAS NOT REPLACE IT SINCE HE BOUGHT HE CAR. CUSTOMER AGREED ON REPLACING THE BATTERY AS A PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE. REMOVED, REPLACED AND REGISTER BATTERY TO THE DME.

    • customer states that the engine is misfiring. found multiple misfire fault codes also found mixture preparation fault codes for bank 1 and 2 . after checking the fuel trim values diagnosed a fault air mass meter. also found that ignition coils for cylinders # 1 and 3 had fail. removed and replaced air mas meter. removed and replaced ignition coils for cylinder #1 and 3. cleared fault codes. reset adaption values. test drove vehicle and noticed that the fuel trim values were restore to normal.
    • during test drive technician noticed that the control are bushings were worn out. removed and replaced both control arm bushings.
