- customer states that she can smell burning rubber through the cabin. during inspection noticed that the valve cover gasket is leaking oil. recommend to replace the whole valve cover assembly due to a common failure for the PCV that is incorporated to the valve cover assembly. removed and replaced valve cover assembly along with all the associated seals and gaskets. removed spark plug on cylinder #1 and noticed that it is worn to the minimum. removed and replaced spark plugs. washed engine bay.
- during inspection noticed that the clock time was getting reset by itself. performed a battery load test and the result was marginal. Removed, replaced and register the battery.
