- customer states that the engine is misfiring. found multiple misfire fault codes also found mixture preparation fault codes for bank 1 and 2 . after checking the fuel trim values diagnosed a fault air mass meter. also found that ignition coils for cylinders # 1 and 3 had fail. removed and replaced air mas meter. removed and replaced ignition coils for cylinder #1 and 3. cleared fault codes. reset adaption values. test drove vehicle and noticed that the fuel trim values were restore to normal.
- during test drive technician noticed that the control are bushings were worn out. removed and replaced both control arm bushings.
