Services Performed
- CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE ENGINE SMELLS LIKE BURNING OIL. FOUND THAT THE VALVE COVER GASKET IS LEAKING. ALSO STATES THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND THAT THE DRIVETRAIN MALFUNCTION MESSAGE IS ON. FOUND FAULTS FOR MISFIRE ON CYLINDER #3. DIAGNOSED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE IGNITION COIL FAILED. INSPECTED SPARK PLUGS AND FOUND THAT THE SPARK PLUGS ARE WORN. REMOVED VALVE COVER AND REPLACED THE CORRESPONDING GASKET. REPLACED ALL SIX SPARK PLUGS AND FAULTY IGNITION COIL. ALSO FOUND FAULT CODE 30FF TURBOCHARGER BOOST PRESSURE TOO LOW. DIAGNOSED AND FOUND THAT ONE OF THE VACUUM HOSES THAT CONNECTS TO ONE OF THE DIVERTER VALVES WAS DISCONNECTED. CONNECTED VACUUM HOSE. CLEARED FAULTS. TEST DROVE VEHICLE. NO FAULTS CAME BACK.
- FOUND FAULT 29F3 FUEL LOW PRESSURE SENSOR ELECTRIC. DIAGNOSED AND CONFIRMED A FAULTY LOW FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED.
- FOUND FAULT 2C77 OXYGEN SENSOR AFTER CATALYTIC CONVERTER SIGNAL. DIAGNOSED AND CONFIRMED A FAULTY SENSOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED. CLEARED FAULTS. TEST DROVE VEHICLE. NO FAULTS CAME BACK.
- DURING INSPECTION NOTICED THAT THE LEFT SENDING UNIT IS LEAKING FUEL. REMOVED AND REPLACED FUEL SENDING UNIT.
- DURING INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE UPPER RADIATOR NECK IS LEAKING. ALSO NOTICED THAT THE EXPANSION TANK IS BROWN AN INDICATION OF FATIGUE AND FUTURE FAILURE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY. REPLACED EXPANSION TANK. FILLED UP AND BLED THE COOLING SYSTEM. NO MORE LEAKS PRESENT THIS TIME.
